We are delighted to welcome you to the newly opened Involvement Centre in Waterford City. Here you will find a homely atmosphere, with comfy chairs and sofas, tea, coffee and biscuits, and a team of friendly, empathetic peers who are here to support you. We look forward to meeting you!

Waterford Solace Cafe – –
The Solace Cafe is also based in Enterprise House, New Street, Waterford City, X91 YN7X
It provides private, personalised peer support for mental health and addiction difficulties. You will be welcomed by friendly, empathetic, trained professionals with lived experience of these issues. Their service is free of charge, and you do not require a referral.
The Solace Cafe is open Thursday to Sunday 5pm to 10pm. You need to reserve a 1-hour slot for yourself (and a companion if you would like), online or by phone:

Shine

Shine offers peer support meetings for adults with mental health challenges.
They are held in the Central Library, 6 Lady Lane, Waterford, X91 V045
6:15pm on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month.
You will be supported by friendly and welcoming trained volunteers, who all have their own experience of mental health issues.
The service is free of charge, and you do not need a referral. We recommend calling us beforehand, just in case of cancellation.

Re-A-Suir is a suicide prevention patrol that operates on Friday evenings. They watch the road bridge in Waterford City Centre, and have an office at 28A Mary Street, Waterford, X91 A38P. You can drop in there and talk to understanding and empathetic trained volunteers between 10pm Friday night and 2am Saturday morning.
